From Texas and wanted done good Mexican food. It was good just not like home. A little pricey. Margarita was VERY good. Buffer is 12.00 and my grandson is 9 so for kids it's by age. He had one tostada and a bite of enchilada. I do not recommend the buffet for kids. Get a plate and take left overs home. Not good with large parties. We had 8 in ours. Although the ladies were very nice, I think they were a little lost. Salsa was awesome! Beans were very fresh. Rice seemed old. Fresh tortillas! Nice atmosphere and clean restroom.

I was glad to see that super mediocre Chinese restaurant in this spot for the last 30 years close and a sign saying a Mexico restaurant is opening soon, this was a couple months ago. I was going to the Walgreens across the street so I took a look and they were open so I stopped by. Once again no website in yelp to look at the menu so I will post some pictures. The place had a wonderful Mexican food smell as I walked and a buffet to the right which is $10 week days and $12 weekends from 11 to 3. The people working the front were very nice and said they are 6 weeks open now. The parking lot was full of cars so that was a good sign and this is a welcome to the area because it's a desert for Mexican except for one other place that I can think of.
The menu is large but I was not feeling a whole dinner and wanted something smaller so I opted for two tacos to get a taste of the place. I got a steak and Al Pastor on corn with cheese, cilantro and onion. The tacos looked and smelled amazing with plenty of meat. The tacos were decent with the steak having a nice firm grilled texture on the great corn tortillas. The Al Pastor was by far the better one with great flavor and a nice garlic finish on the corn tortillas, the hot sauce that came with it was not appealing to me so I would ask for a substitute cup of salsa next time.
I'm definitely going to have try more of the menu in the future here because that other place in the area ignored me which I never went back to and I felt way more welcomed here and it's closer than other good options. -
